Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 3

The NFL has provided us with a horrible game on Thursday Night Football once again. There isn’t much to look forward to regarding this one, but if you have a Ram or 49er on your team, hopefully this helped.

Outside of being a Rams fan or 49ers fan, what reasons other than fantasy football would make someone want to watch this game? Neither team is going to vie for a playoff spot this year (or any time soon) so this really is one of the worst games imaginable.
This game will pit two solid running backs against each other and both of those guys are worth starting in your leagues. Gurley and Hyde both impressed last week and are looking to build on that momentum for their teams.
The 49ers defense is worth a start too, as they held the Seahawks to just 12 points and held Russell Wilson to under 200 yards passing. The LA defense is one to stay away from, as they got run over by the Redskins offense a week ago.

Also, sit Jared Goff and Pierre Garcon. I like Goff this year and think he’ll take big steps towards looking like a true number one overall pick, but this isn’t a game where he’ll excel in. Garcon should be sat due to who his quarterback is (Brian Hoyer). Plain and simple.
Hopefully my advice helps and puts your team on pace for a good rest of the weekend!
