Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 3
SIT ‘EM #3
The Los Angeles Rams have had a pretty good defense over the years, but it’s best to sit them for this week’s match-up. If nothing else, look at how poorly the Rams D performed last week against the Redskins.
Los Angeles gave up 385 total yards to the Redskins offense and that was on a day where Kirk Cousins wasn’t even looking average. Despite the 49ers offense being bad and despite Brian Hoyer being the main cause of that, be cautious on playing the Rams defense this week.
Hoyer might throw a pick or two, but this Rams D has shown that they’re susceptible to allowing big games for opposing offenses. If the 49ers defense is still available in your league, slot them in as starters instead.
The Rams defense did well against the Colts in week one, which was to be expected, but the drop-off between week one and week two doesn’t make me confident in playing them… even if it is against the lowly 49ers.
