SIT ‘EM #1
player. 51. Projected Points: 16. Quarterback. Rams. Jared Goff. 1
While Jared Goff has been looking much improved from a season ago, he’s probably still available in most leagues. A lot of that is due to him still being unproven.
If you do have Goff on your team, it’s either as a deep backup or you’re a big Rams fan. He should stay on the bench for this game against the 49ers.
Goff threw for over 200 yards, a touchdown, and an interception last week against the Redskins. He’s putting up better numbers this season and that’s to be expected considering the organization gave him a few more weapons to throw to (Cooper Kupp is a big name to watch for fantasy football purposes).
With all of that said, San Francisco held Russell Wilson and his Seahawks offense to under 200 yards passing/receiving. Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, which means if he couldn’t get much going against the 49ers, Goff probably won’t fare much better.
