San Francisco might be a bad team, but a lot of that blame can be placed squarely on their offense (or lack thereof). The defense has actually done okay in their first two games, only allowing the Seahawks to put up 12 points last weekend.

The Niners held Russell Wilson to under 200 yards passing, held the entire Seahawks offense to under 300 yards, forced two fumbles, and sacked Wilson twice. It was an impressive showing from San Francisco’s defense and they should be able to replicate some of that success against the Rams.

Los Angeles’ offense hasn’t been a unit to be afraid of and the Niners got their only two wins last year against the Rams. Jared Goff is still learning and will turn the ball over and Gurley had a lost fumble last weekend as well (though you should definitely still start him).

The Niners probably aren’t high on many people’s list due to how bad their team is, but their defense is worth a start if you have them on your team.
