START ‘EM #1

42. Projected Points: 13. Running Back. 49ers. Carlos Hyde. 1. player

One day after his 27th birthday, Carlos Hyde will hopefully get to feast against the Rams for the entire world to see. There was doubt surrounding Hyde heading into this year, but he had a nice game in week two against the Seattle Seahawks.

Hyde gashed the Seahawks run defense for 124 yards off of 15 carries, which bodes well for his fantasy owners this week. While the Rams appear to have a good defense (at least they did a year ago), they were completely run over by the Redskins last weekend.

Washington was able to run for 229 yards on LA’s defense and they also gave up two rushing touchdowns to the Redskins running backs as well. If Hyde can run like he did a week ago in Seattle and the Rams defense continues to falter when it comes to stopping the run, Hyde will put up big time points for his squad.

Carlos Hyde might not be the star running back that football fans thought he would be, now heading into his fourth professional season, but look for him to eat against the LA Rams run defense this Thursday.
