A. . DT. Kansas City Chiefs. CHRIS JONES

The player of the week was easily Chris Jones. Jones had the best game of his career, sacking Carson Wentz three times and intercepting him off of a tipped pass. He also had four tackles on the day as well.

Remember when the Chiefs traded out of the first round in the 2016 NFL Draft and Chiefs fans flipped out? Well, they got who they wanted in round two in Chris Jones. How dumb do other teams look now for passing on Jones, who slipped to the second round and has played like a first rounder?

I freaked out a bit when Jones was injured early on in the game. If Jones went out, who could flip his void? Fortunately we didn’t have to answer that question, as he came back into the game and wrecked that Eagles front and put Wentz on the ground three times.

Do the Chiefs win that game without Chris Jones? Who knows, but I’m sure glad he’s on my team.
