SIT ‘EM

3. player. 50. Projected Points: 6. Wide Receiver. Lions. Kenny Golladay

Be honest… Did you even know who Kenny Golladay was before Sunday? I’m guessing not. That’s why I’m riding the “sit train” in regards to Kenny Golladay. He had an impressive showing in week one, catching four passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns.

The odds of [Golladay] replicating that success aren’t great.

Don’t expect that to carry over into week two. For one, he’s going up against the Giants burly secondary. I mentioned why playing Stafford was a bad move this weekend and a lot of the same stuff can be directed at Golladay as well.

We’ve all done it before. We’ve all picked up the hot name on the waiver wire and then played him the following week thinking we just hit the jackpot. We then end up sorely disappointed most of the time. That’s what a lot of owners will do with Kenny Golladay and I’d strongly urge you not to start him this week because the odds of him replicating that success aren’t great.

If you picked him up, that’s great! The match-up just isn’t ideal for his fantasy owners this weekend. Keep him on the bench until there’s a more favorable match-up for him.
