START ‘EM

32. . D/ST. Cardinals. Cardinals D/ST. 5. player

Until Andrew Luck comes back, my starting defense and special teams is almost always going to be whoever faces the Colts. This week it’s the Arizona Cardinals, who get the Tolzien-led Colts in week two.

The Cardinals didn’t have a great first week, allowing the Lions to put up nearly 300 yards through the air and four passing touchdowns as well. Arizona’s defense didn’t look like what we used to know and love, though they did pick off Matthew Stafford and return it the other way for six.

We’ll see much more of that “old school” Cardinals defense this weekend because Scott Tolzien sucks. Without Luck, the Colts aren’t going to do much offensively and the Cardinals will beat up on them, just like the Rams did a week ago.

If you have the Cardinals defense and are a little shocked that they didn’t come through for you last week, get over it quickly. You’ll want them in that starting spot this weekend.
