START ‘EM

28. Projected Points: 21. Quarterback. Raiders. Derek Carr. 1. player

Derek Carr has a dream match-up this weekend against the lowly New York Jets. The Jets allowed Tyrod Taylor to throw for 224 yards and two touchdowns against them in a 21-12 loss.

The smart strategy for fantasy owners would be to start anyone who plays against the Jets, and if you have Raiders quarterback Derek Carr on your team, you’d be stupid not to play him this week. Carr had 22 fantasy points last week against the Titans, throwing for two touchdowns in that game.

Throw in the fact that this is the Raiders’ home opener and it should be a massive game for the Oakland quarterback. Carr is going to be one of the top performers in fantasy this week and starting him is an absolute no brainer.

The Jets don’t stand a chance.
