One week of fantasy football is in the record books and hopefully you’re 1-0 on the year. Here is our week two edition of “Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em” for fantasy football in case you need some help on who to play.

What a fun week of football we had in week one! Fantasy football was fun to follow along with as well, as some no names emerged from the depths.

Fans were introduced to the likes of Tarik Cohen of the Bears and Kenny Golladay of the Lions, both who put up great numbers in week one. Neither guy was owned in a lot of leagues, but the good news is that we know who they are now and they’ll be names to keep an eye on.

Before we get into the week two starts and sits, I just want to reiterate that these posts are not going to feature the big boys of the league. I don’t need to tell fantasy football owners to start Aaron Rodgers or Antonio Brown. Hopefully they’re well aware that starting both of those guys is a no-brainer.

All right, now let’s get to a fun segment called “Leigh’s Hit of the Week” and “Leigh’s Miss of the Week”. This is where we look back at how smart I was and how dumb I was a week ago regarding who to start and who to sit.

LEIGH’S HIT OF THE WEEK: STARTING RAMS DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

If you owned the Los Angeles Rams defense and special teams unit and you started them last week, you had to be quite happy with the results. The Rams tore the Colts to shreds defensively, scoring two defensive touchdowns and making Scott Tolzien look like… Well, Scott Tolzien.

Los Angeles scored 29 fantasy football points and fans had to be dancing at those results. I’d love to sit here and gloat, but I did have a pretty bad miss as well.

LEIGH’S MISS OF THE WEEK: SITTING LEONARD FOURNETTE

Oh man… I really hope you didn’t listen to me on benching Leonard Fournette for week one. The Jaguars rookie running back had 100 yards on the ground and a touchdown against the Texans. I felt confident about not starting a rookie running back (both with Fournette and Kareem Hunt) and look where that got me in week one.

Okay, now that that’s over with, let’s get to the Start ‘Ems for week two!
