SIT ‘EM #3

Texans. Lamar Miller. 3. player. 10. Week 2 Projected Points: 9. Running Back

This one might seem odd considering the Bengals gave up over 150 yards on the ground last week, but hear me out. The Bengals know that the Texans are going to want to run the ball since they have a weak quarterback (no matter who plays).

The Texans offense is a jumbled mess at the moment.

Because of that, Cincinnati is going to hound the run game and it’ll be tough for Lamar Miller to make an impact. He’s going to be stuffed at the line throughout and yards will be hard to come by for the Texans running back.

Throw in the fact that Houston’s offensive line is a travesty, and it could be a long year for Lamar Miller fantasy owners. He had 17 carries on Sunday for just 65 yards and didn’t find the end zone (though no one other than DeAndre Hopkins did).

While I certainly understand feeling a little confident in starting Miller due to the Bengals mediocre run defense, keep in mind that the Texans offense is a jumbled mess at the moment. That will decrease Miller’s impact.
