START ‘EM #3

3. player. 56. Week 2 Projected Points: 10. D/ST. Bengals. Cincinnati D/ST

Did anyone watch the Texans/Jaguars game on Sunday? I unfortunately did (though I love NFL Red Zone, so no shame) and the Texans offense looked atrocious. That makes the Bengals defense an easy play this week.

The Bengals might have allowed 20 points to the Ravens last week, but they also forced some turnovers.

For starters, the Texans have a nightmare quarterback situation, with Tom Savage only completing seven passes and losing two fumbles. Deshaun Watson wasn’t much better, throwing an interception and losing a fumble.

The second big thing to note here is that Houston’s offensive line is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The Jaguars (yes, the Jaguars) totaled ten sacks on the day and now people are calling them Sacks-onville. Just…no.

The Bengals might have allowed 20 points to the Ravens last week, but they also forced some turnovers. It was Andy Dalton who gave them zero shot at winning.

With the poor play of the Texans offensive line and that gross quarterback situation there, you have to be pretty confident about playing the Bengals defense and special teams unit this week.
