BAD: OFFENSE (MINUS THE RUN GAME)

What happened to the high-flying Missouri Tigers offense that we saw against Missouri State last weekend? Remember those guys? Drew Lock threw for over 500 yards in that game and looked invincible.

This week, however, the offense was not impressive. Lock looked like a shell of himself (actually played similar to how he did as a freshman in 2015), going just 14 of 32 for 245 yards and throwing only one touchdown to two interceptions. It was a disappointing follow up for the junior quarterback, who looked uncomfortable for most of the night.

Lock and the receivers didn’t get much done.

The run game carried this offense, as mentioned on the last slide. Lock and the receivers didn’t get much done. Lock connected with tight end Jason Reese on a 61-yard touchdown in the second quarter and that would be it for the former fiery MU offense.

While the defense stepped up for the most part, this offense is going to have to carry the Tigers in some games. If they play as poorly as they did on Saturday, then it could be a long season for Missouri fans.
