Get ready for some more Big 12 vs SEC football next week! K-State travels to face the 2-0 Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville Tennessee for a 6:30 pm central time kickoff.
Vanderbilt is a bottom team in the SEC, but they could surprise some people. They have a star running back in Ralph Webb and a returning quarterback in Kyle Shurmur. So far, they have a good road victory against Middle Tennessee State and throttled an overmatched Alabama A&M.
Expect a thrilling game and one that K-State should be able to come out on top if they are to maintain their dark-horse Big 12 champion status. After watching Oklahoma take down the second-ranked Ohio State, however, the Kansas State Wildcats are going to have their work cut out for them.
