Very rarely this season will I be as high on a lot of Rams players as I am this week, but hey… They’re playing the Colts! The Colts have a TERRIBLE defense, posting the third worst number in total yards allowed a season ago.
Because of that poor defense that the Colts have, Sammy Watkins is going to have a breakout game as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Say what you want about Jared Goff, but he’ll have help this year in the passing game, and I see him and Watkins connecting quite a bit in this game.
Watkins never really was the shining star that Buffalo expected him to be, which is why he’s with the Rams now, but he should be able to pad his stats against one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
The Rams aren’t going to have a lot of players featured on the “Start ‘Em” portion of this in the future, so let’s enjoy the moment while we can.
