In the future, these will be a little more helpful, but the Patriots are just so darn good. It was really hard to think of a Patriots player who to sit this week, but Amendola was the only one who really made sense.
As for the rest of the Chiefs, Tyreek Hill might be a safe bet to have on the bench too. The Patriots are good at zoning in on the Chiefs’ best weapons and between Hill and Travis Kelce, one of them is getting hounded on all night, if not both.
The Chiefs defense and special teams is someone you could start, but predominantly for the special teams aspect. The defense is going to give up points to Tom Brady and the Patriots (everyone does), so if you’re starting that unit, it’s likely in hopes of seeing Hill or De’Anthony Thomas take a punt or kickoff to the house.
