SIT ‘EM

Danny Amendola. 3. player. 47. . Wide Receiver. Patriots

For the final “Sit ‘Em” candidate, I have Danny Amendola. Amendola is heading into his fourth year with the Patriots and has yet to really stay healthy and help the Patriots.

As such, it’s not likely that many people have Amendola as a relied upon starter. If you did plan on starting Amendola this week, however, I’d suggest not doing so. The third-string wideout in New England might have a better chance at getting targets now due to Julian Edelman missing the season, but don’t count on him doing a whole lot in this one.

Amendola only started four games last year and amassed just 243 yards on 23 receptions. He did find the end zone four times, but he is not worth starting in your leagues this week, even against a “meh” group of Chiefs cornerbacks (minus Marcus Peters, of course).

Sit Danny Amendola. Behind Cooks, Chris Hogan, and Gronk, he likely won’t see a lot of action in this game, or many others for that matter.
