The Patriots made some big moves this offseason. Who is the one new player that opponents will need to account for the most?

"I think it will end up being Rex Burkhead. He’s not as big of a name as Gilmore or Cooks, but he can fill many different roles. He can line up in the backfield and run it, or swing out for a pass. Burkhead can also line up in the slot and I wouldn’t be surprised if he threw a pass at some point in this season as well."

Obviously I’m a Chiefs fan, but I’m also a big Nebraska fan, so I love hearing Rex Burkhead mentioned in a positive light. Burkhead  was a standout running back during his time in Lincoln.

I was always waiting for Burkhead to break out in Cincinnati, but it never happened there. When I heard he was joining the Patriots, I knew it was a match made in heaven for the former Cornhusker. Burkhead is definitely someone to keep an eye on and he could pose problems for opposing teams down the road… yes, that includes the Chiefs.

I don’t want Burkhead to have success at the expense of Kansas City, but at least I can say I told you all so. He has the ability to be a really good underrated player in the pros. Just you wait and see.
