Travis Kelce has become one of the top tight ends in the NFL. What will the Patriots do to try and take away the middle of the field from him?

"I think you may see a lot of double teams on Kelce in this game. New England has the ability to cover KC’s top two receivers one-on-one with Malcolm Butler and Stephon Gilmore, so they can devote a little extra attention to Kelce."

Even though New England has Rob Gronkowski, they know how good Travis Kelce can be. He’s the second best tight end in the league behind Gronk and put up scary good numbers a season ago.

When the Chiefs and Patriots last squared off (this being in the playoffs in the 2015 season), Kelce didn’t fare too well in Foxboro. The Chiefs tight end only managed to grab six catches for 23 yards. So all in all, the Patriots did a good job of containing him that night.

That was over a year ago though, and I really think between Kelce and Tyreek Hill, that the Chiefs will be able to get Kelce the football more often this go around. He’ll want to prove that he’s the better tight end after all, right?
