TOP 15 DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET IN 2017 – NUMBER 10: CHRIS CARSON

Chris Carson is becoming a more well-known name as the injuries pile up in Seattle. Carson, a two-year contributor at Oklahoma State, could very well see some playing time with the Seahawks this year.

Both Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise are injured, and that leaves Eddie Lacy and Chris Carson to be the workhorses for Seattle. Lacy signed with the Seahawks in free agency and will likely lock down the starting job should Rawls be unable to start anytime soon.

Carson rushed for just 559 yards last year in Stillwater, but had nine trips into the end zone for the Cowboys. He’s a red-zone back, at least that was showcased during his senior year in college, so perhaps the Seahawks will use him in a similar role.

The Seahawks offensive line is bad at opening up the run game, which could certainly pose a problem, but keep an eye on Chris Carson in the early weeks of the season. He could be a game changer for your team.
