TOP 15 DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET IN 2017 – NUMBER 3: JOHN ROSS

The Cincinnati Bengals have a plethora of targets for quarterback Andy Dalton, but the fastest guy on the team is without a doubt rookie John Ross out of Washington. Ross was Cincinnati’s first round pick this year and the guy will either go on to explode on the scene or he’ll be a major fantasy football bust.

Ross could easily become a breakout star this season with his speed alone.

Ross had a tremendous senior season at Washington, hauling in 81 receptions for 1,150 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Huskies in a College Football Playoff-bound season. Ross was a big reason why the Huskies were so good last year and he should eventually be a can’t miss fantasy prodigy.

For the time being, however, Ross has A.J. Green, Brandon LaFell, and even tight end Tyler Eifert to compete with for catches. Ross also has an injury history latched onto his name, which is never a good thing, especially not in fantasy football.

Ross could easily become a breakout star this season with his speed alone. He’s definitely someone who will go on to put up big numbers or incredibly underwhelming numbers. There won’t be much in between with John Ross.
