Five Games That Could Be in the Win Column – Week 2: Central Michigan

Even though this will be more of a challenge for the Jayhawks than their first game, this game against Central Michigan should also be in the win column. The Jayhawks square up against the Chippewas of Central Michigan and should beat out the decent MAC team for their second win of the season.

The two schools faced each other back in 2014 with Kansas coming out on top under then head coach Charlie Weis. That year’s Kansas team was not good at all and managed to beat the Chippewas 24-10.

While Central Michigan comes from a smaller conference (MAC), they’re not an opponent to count out by any means. This is a school who notched a big time victory against Oklahoma State last season. They have the ability to battle it out with the best of them, so it’s important for the KU players to focus in this one.

It could be a battle for the first two quarters, but KU Football should eventually pull away and win this game by close to 14 points. With this win, the Jayhawks go 2-0 and already cap off a complete season, if it was 2016.
