With less than a week to go before we see some KU Football, the hype for this team is real. David Beaty has this squad ready to tackle this season with aspirations of making the postseason.

This team of Kansas Jayhawks is going to be much improved next season, so obviously there are going to be some games that the Jayhawks could realistically win. Considering this team went 2-10 last season, it is just an improvement to see five games landing in the win column.

Even after dismissing some important pieces to the team in linebacker Maciah Long and wide receiver LaQuvionte Gonzalez, the Jayhawks still have tons of upside this season. With a bunch of JUCO transfers, Doug Meacham at the helm of the offense, and (hopefully) quarterback stability, the Jayhawks could win to get into the postseason.

Now, that may be a bold prediction, which is outlined out of five that I made, but if the Jayhawks play their cards right it could become a reality.

Instead of going that far, however, let’s see five games that Kansas could put in the win column. While this may not cover the whole spectrum of possibilities for this era of improved Jayhawk football, it should cover the games you should not miss as a KU Football fan.
