CHRIS JONES

“Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch

When the Kansas City Chiefs traded out of the first round in 2016, fans were not too pleased. They waited all night to see who their team was going to select and then it turned out the answer was NO ONE. Fortunately, they still got a first round talent in the second round when they landed Chris Jones.

Jones is a cool dude. He always seems to have a smile on his face and bring a positive attitude both on and off the field. Oh, not to mention the dude is a monster on the gridiron, which is always nice to have on the team as well.

[Jones] always seems to have a smile on his face and bring a positive attitude both on and off the field.

Because of Jones’ positive vibes he’s sending all the time, I thought “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch would be the perfect song for him to walk-out to. The song, one of my all-time favorites, is a great song to pump up the crowd and the players on the field. Any time I hear it, I want to put a helmet and pads on and go crush someone (that’d be a sight).

"Yo it’s about that time To bring forth the rhythm and the rhyme I’m a get mine so get yours I wanna see sweat comin’ out your pores"

Of course, the easy choice would have been “Mr. Jones” by Counting Crows, but I went with the a more crowd pumping song. Jones had a tremendous rookie season with the Chiefs and now he’s officially a starter in Dontari Poe’s absence. Will his good vibrations bring him another stellar season in the NFL?
