TYREEK HILL

“The Distance” by Cake

Tyreek Hill took Chiefs Kingdom and the entire NFL by storm last season with his blazing speed. He was making all kinds of highlight reels as a rookie and will look to impress again during his second season in the pros.

Chiefs fans knew there was a really good chance of [Hill] taking it to the house.

Hill’s remarkable rookie season consisted of him putting up 12 total touchdowns on the year, doing damage in the receiving game, rushing game, and on special teams. In the first match-up with Denver, Hill scored a touchdown on all three facets, and holy crap it was awesome.

Keeping Hill’s speed in mind for his walk-out song, my pick for him was a great alternative song from the 1990s called “The Distance” by Cake. Whenever Hill got a punt or kickoff knocked his way, Chiefs fans knew there was a really good chance of him taking it to the house.

"He’s going the distance He’s going for speed"

What defender was able to catch up to Hill last year? Not very many. Once he had the football in his hands and was up to full speed, the kid was off to the races. He was going the distance and he was going for speed, and I can’t wait to see Tyreek Hill do that again in 2017.
