Top 15 Rookies to Target in Fantasy Football: Number 13 – Zay Jones

With the Bills sending Sammy Watkins to Los Angeles, that puts even more pressure on Zay Jones to step up and become a top weapon for Tyrod Taylor and the Buffalo offense. The Bills also have Jordan Matthews, but expect Jones to be someone that Taylor looks for when he does decide to throw the ball.

The Bills running attack is one of their best attributes, which is why Jones isn’t any higher than 13 on my list. He’ll get targets from Taylor, but the Bills are at their best when LeSean McCoy is running the football.

Now that Watkins and Anquan Boldin are no more in Buffalo, Jones could wind up being a starter for the Bills. The issue here is more with Tyrod Taylor, as according to Andrew Fox Miller of SB Nation, no Bills receiver has had 60 receptions during Taylor’s tenure at quarterback. That could play into how Jones does as a rookie.

Zay Jones should be available in the late rounds and could go on to be a nice rookie player and an even better “sleeper” pick.
