Drafting rookies in fantasy football can be risky sometimes, as we just don’t know what those players are going to look like as professionals. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered. Here are the 15 best rookies to target this year.

People might have shied away from Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott last year in fantasy football  due to him being a rookie. People also probably avoided picking up any other top name rookies because of the uncertainty.

Well, for those who did pick up Elliott last year, they were probably happy they did so. Elliott went on to have the fifth best numbers out of any player in fantasy football. That just goes to show you that rookies can pay off huge dividends if you get lucky and strike gold.

This year there are several key rookies that have been earning hype throughout the offseason and preseason. While there aren’t any quarterbacks worth taking a shot on (mainly because none are for sure going to be starters to begin the year), there are a tremendous amount of running backs and wide receivers to focus on in the middle to late (mostly late) rounds.

Before we get to the rookies, I should mention that not all of these guys had images available from their brief time in the NFL, so I used a picture of them from their college years.

So, who are the top 15 rookies to target this year in fantasy football? Let’s take a gander.
