Five Bold Predictions for the 2017-2018 Season

KU Beats Texas in Football… Again

After suffering an embarrassing loss to the Jayhawks, the Texas Longhorns watched the bottom fall out by the end of the season when Charlie Strong was dismissed, ultimately because of the loss at Memorial Stadium. Well, Texas should be looking for revenge next season when the Jayhawks head into Austin.

So will Texas serve them a nice cold plate of revenge? I think not.

With Texas reeling the loss of Charlie Strong and the introduction of a new head coach, they waste most of their energy figuring things out.

Kansas comes into Austin and leaves with a much needed win to get them closer to the six game barrier, and ends up labeled as the Longhorns’ kryptonite. Starting a new unofficial football rivalry between these two teams, and keeping Texas on their toes every season. This will be the unofficial start of a new era in the Big 12.
