Five Bold Predictions for the 2017-2018 Season

KU Football Makes the Postseason

David Beaty said it, so do you believe him? First reported by the Lawrence World Journal, David Beaty is quoted saying, “We expect to go to a bowl game”.

For a team that did just awful last year, should fans expect much this season? Here is the thing: this team is so much different than last year’s team. With this being year three under David Beaty, KU Football should be better than ever.

A fact that should sway your thinking is the fact that KU has just so many opportunities to bring in wins this year. They’ll play non-conference teams SEMO, Central Michigan, and Ohio, and will have winnable Big 12 games as well, especially against Iowa State.

KU has just so many opportunities to bring in wins this year.

Head scratching Louisiana top tier recruit pickups bringing new options on offense, JUCO transfers bolstering the run game, quarterback stability, and a new offensive coordinator should make this team way different than last year.

There is a lot of improvement on the board, but still this prediction is bold, there is no doubting that. Honestly, do you think it is the boldest?
