Kansas Football: All-Time Leaders in Receiving Yards
Kansas football all-time receiving yards: 8. Brandon Rideau (1,636)
Eighth all-time in receiving yards is Brandon Rideau, who spent four years with the Jayhawks. Rideau had a total of 131 receptions for 1,636 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Seven of those touchdowns came during Rideau’s senior season in 2004, where he totaled 51 catches for 597 yards and those seven scores. The Jayhawks weren’t great that year, only winning four games, but Rideau was a reliable receiver.
During his junior season, Rideau also had 51 receptions, but for 677 yards and six touchdowns. He had those two nice seasons in Lawrence, but it wasn’t enough to get him drafted by an NFL team. Rideau did, however, spend a short amount time in the NFL, appearing in two games for the Chicago Bears.
Two good seasons was enough to give Brandon Rideau a short stint in the pros and got him to eighth all-time on this list.
