Kansas football all-time receiving yards: 9. Marcus Henry (1,598)

Marcus Henry was a member of the Kansas Jayhawks football team during one of their best eras. He was on that 2007 team and was an absolute monster down the field for quarterback Todd Reesing.

Henry’s 2007 campaign saw him grab 54 passes for 1,014 yards and ten touchdowns. He was a nightmare for opposing defenses to cover and helped the Jayhawks get to (and ultimately win) the Orange Bowl that year.

As a result of Marcus Henry’s dominant senior season in Lawrence, he heard his name called in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. Unfortunately, Henry never appeared in a regular season game for any NFL team and eventually moved on to the Canadian Football League, where he remains today.

Henry’s excellent senior season is what landed him ninth all-time on this list, as he never really did much in his other three seasons. Henry had a total of 104 receptions for 1,598 yards and 13 touchdowns during his four collegiate years with KU.

Marcus Henry definitely had one of the best seasons that a KU wide receiver has ever had and he paved the way for the offense that year. He sits ninth all-time for receiving yards.
