Kansas football all-time receiving yards: 14. Bruce Adams (1,511)

From 1972 to 1974, Bruce Adams was a wrecking ball for the Jayhawks on offense. He had a great first season in Lawrence, putting up 704 yards off of 39 receptions and found the end zone eight times.

His total numbers as a member of Kansas football were 90 receptions for 1,511 yards and 17 touchdowns during three seasons.

The 1974 season was a decent one for KU, as they posted a winning record that year and even made a bowl game appearance. They went on to lose in the Liberty Bowl, but it was a fun year regardless.

Bruce Adams didn’t go on to the pros, but he sure did have a nice three seasons with the Kansas Jayhawks.
