WEEK 5: HOUSTON TEXANS – DEANDRE HOPKINS, WR

A lot of people probably wondered why J.J. Watt was not the option here and my answer to that is simple: The Chiefs have gotten the best of Watt during their match-ups.

Case in point: The tweet above.

Anyway, I chose DeAndre Hopkins as my toughest player in the Houston game because this kid, with Brock Osweiler and Tom Savage as his two quarterbacks last season, somehow still nearly got 1,000 yards receiving. That’s really scary.

Hopkins carved up the Chiefs secondary in week two of the 2016 season, grabbing seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. He was the Texans offense that day and helped lead the way for Houston to win that game.

While Marcus Peters has another year of experience under his belt, so does Hopkins, which could make the two of them matching up a battle for the ages. Hopefully Peters wins.
