WEEK 1: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS – TOM BRADY, QB

Does this surprise anyone? Tom Brady is going to be the toughest match-up for most teams because the guy can seemingly do it all. He has five Super Bowl rings for a reason.

If this game were at Arrowhead Stadium, I might list someone like Rob Gronkowski as a tougher match-up for Kansas City, but unfortunately, it’s in Foxboro. Brady has owned the Chiefs on his home turf, not having yet lost a game to them in Massachusetts.

Brady missed four games last year and still threw for more yards than Alex Smith.

Brady missed four games last year and still threw for more yards than Alex Smith. Even with no weapons at his disposal, Brady always does great things and that’s what makes him so terrifying to play against.

Throw in the fact that Brady and Gronkowski will be reunited in the season opener and I’m horrified to see what’s going to happen to the Chiefs secondary. Brady isn’t good at Arrowhead, but this game is where he’s comfortable at, and it’ll be the Patriots’ first game since their incredible comeback victory in the Super Bowl.

Yeah, I’d be scared to face him too.
