WEEK 16: MIAMI DOLPHINS – CAMERON WAKE, LB

When it comes to the Dolphins, Cameron Wake seemed to be the best option here. Ndamukong Suh could have been a nice choice as well, but I went with Wake. Wake had 11 and a half sacks last season for the Fins, as they made it to the playoffs for the first time since the 2008 season.

If Wake has a good game, then it’ll be tough for the Chiefs to score points.

With Ryan Tannehill out for the season and Jay Cutler stepping in, the defense in Miami is going to have to step it up this year. Wake is the leader of that defense and should be heading towards another Pro Bowl type of year.

Another option for the Dolphins was Jarvis Landry, who had a tremendous 2016 campaign. Landry put up over 1,100 yards receiving and should be primed for another great season in South Florida.

I went with Wake because those close games come down to how well the defenses play. If Wake has a good game, then it’ll be tough for the Chiefs to score points. Their offense has struggled enough as it is and if Wake is in Smith’s face all day long, it could be a painful display by the Kansas City offense.
