Kansas City Chiefs: 10 Things To Watch Vs The Bengals

When Alex Smith uncorked a 32 yard strike to Tyreek Hill to kick off things last week, Kansas City Chiefs fans went nuts. It was an aggressive play call and execution that we haven’t seen much of in Kansas City in recent years. In fact, it has been one of the biggest criticisms of Smith during his time in KC.
It is no secret that this is likely Alex Smith’s last season in Kansas City. That means he is likely playing for his next (and final?) contract in the NFL. Players in contract years tend to be more aggressive than normal in order to maximize their next deal.
