Kansas City Chiefs: 10 Things From St Joe’s

#5 Tanoh Kpassagnon Is A Freak Athlete

Everyone understood that Tanoh Kpassagnon would be a developmental player for the Kansas City Chiefs this year. His raw ability was too much to pass up, but he had a lot to learn. Apparently the Chiefs have decided to really pursue this as Kpassagnon is learning how to play multiple positions…and is showing the physical ability to do it.

“We got TK, the freak…He can play linebacker and defensive line. He’s gonna be a good guy for this defense.” ~ Chris Jones on Tanoh Kpassagnon

So far the Chiefs have used Tanoh Kpassagnon at defensive end, defensive tackle, and outside linebacker. Those are three positions that require three very different physical skill sets. The Kansas City coaches are raving about his ability to handle the load as well. It’s an interesting situation to see just how he’ll be used in the future.

Tanoh Kpassagnon’s incredible physical ability isn’t lost on his teammates either. Defensive end Chris Jones commented on it with reporters the other day, saying: “We got TK, the freak. Man that guy’s awesome. He can play linebacker and defensive line. He’s gonna be a good guy for this defense.” High praise from a guy who is an athletic marvel himself.
