Stock Down: Charcandrick West
We knew that there was going to be an interesting decision made at running back this year for the Kansas City Chiefs. With the additions of Kareem Hunt and CJ Spiller to the mix, nothing was guaranteed for the incumbent players. That is especially true for Charcandrick West. Unfortunately, he did not have a good night on Friday.

The biggest black mark on Charcandrick West’s performance is that he had the most carries, but generated next to nothing. With just six yards on five carries, it was a very poor showing. It wasn’t all West’s fault, but he didn’t do anything to show the Chiefs that they need to be keeping him this year.
CJ Spiller was the leading rusher, Spencer Ware had a touchdown, and Kareem Hunt showed up on Special Teams. Only Charcandrick West failed to make any kind of an impact in Friday’s game. That’s already showing up in practice as he appears to be the fourth man on the depth chart.
