Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Target in 2017 – Number 7: DELANIE WALKER

2016 Ranking: 5th

Delanie Walker! The pride and joy of Central Missouri!

Walker is coming off a magnificent season with the Titans, putting up 188.1 points last year for his fantasy owners. He had 65 receptions for 800 yards and seven touchdowns last year and those numbers will only increase, as Marcus Mariota grows comfortable with his offense.

Walker is worth targeting in the earlier rounds due to his ability to get multiple receptions in games. He only had one game last year where he went for over 100 yards, but he consistently gets targets, makes the catches, and gets yardage. He’s easily Mariota’s best weapon on the Titans offense.

With the Titans on the rise for 2017, expect Delanie Walker to play a pivotal role in that Tennessee offense. He’ll be Mariota’s favorite weapon and if fantasy owners start to nab tight ends and Delanie Walker is available, grab him.

Walker stays relatively healthy too, which means you’ll be able to slot him in as your number one guy for pretty much every week.
