#12 Philadelphia Eagles
The early reports from training camp haven’t been good for the Eagles secondary. Fantasy Football owners should be wary of this group as they may give up a few big games this year. However, the front seven in Philadelphia is a very strong group and is capable of forcing a lot of turnovers.
2016 Ranking: 6th
This was the hardest unit for me to grade this year. I do think they take a step back as they’ll face some very high-powered offenses this year. With a weak secondary, that’s going to be a problem. However, there is quite a bit of talent on this roster.
In your larger leagues, the Eagles are still a decent play at the end of the draft if you focused on other areas. In smaller leagues, I love grabbing them late as a backup plan to your top defense. Philadelphia’s defense has the makings of a boom or bust unit, so be careful.
