Fantasy Football: Top 15 Defense and Special Teams for 2017

Fantasy Football: Top 15 D/ST
#14 Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers defense has yet to regain its swagger from the Dick LeBeau era. This is a group that has a lot of individual talent, but enough holes to be picked apart. The secondary is still the major concern here, and that’s where they’ll lose points for Fantasy Football owners.
2016 Ranking: 14th
Under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers have become a much more offensive team than what many are used to. The days of the dominant defense in Pittsburgh might be in the past for a little while. That’s ok from a real world perspective, but it certainly annoys fantasy owners that haven’t been doing their homework.
I’m expecting more of the same struggles from Pittsburgh this year. The front seven will hold its own and make some plays. However, the secondary looks as though it’s primed to be a weakness once again. With their high-powered offense, that’s a recipe for a number of shootouts in 2017.
