Fantasy Football: Top 15 Defense and Special Teams for 2017

Fantasy Football: Top 15 D/ST
#6 Seattle Seahawks
Just being a great all-around defense is not the same as being a great Fantasy Football defense. The Seahawks stop a lot of teams, but they don’t force a ton of turnovers. That’s the key to Fantasy Football, you have to do more than just stop the other team from scoring.
2016 Ranking: 9th
There is a risk to taking the Seahawks defense this year as all is not well in Seattle. There is a clear rift in the locker room right now between Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman. That is the kind of thing that has the potential to spread throughout the team. If that happens, there will be trouble.
However, there is no denying that this team has talent on the defensive side of the ball. That is especially true in the secondary with the “Legion of Boom”. That is where a majority of the points will come from for this group, and that’s a good sign for a fantasy owner.
