#7 San Diego Chargers
The Chargers seem to be headed in the right direction on defense, which is good news for Fantasy Football owners. Obviously the biggest factor here is a full season of Joey Bosa getting after opposing quarterbacks. San Diego might not be that far away from putting things together. As it stands, they’re a better option than most units.
2016 Ranking: 10th
This San Diego Chargers unit has a bright future ahead of them. This is a team that can get after the quarterback and force turnovers. That’s huge for a Fantasy Football team. The only real concern here is that they can also get involved in some big shoot out games. That’s going to put the pressure on them.
You’re going to get some really good games out of the Chargers defense, and some really bad games. However, on the whole, this is a unit worth investing in. At the same time though, I wouldn’t go after them until very late in the draft. Too much boom or bust here.
