Week 6 – Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday, October 15th, 2017 (3:25 CST kickoff on CBS)

Ugh… For most Kansas City Chiefs fans, it’s tough to be optimistic in any game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ever since Ben Roethlisberger joined the Steelers in 2004, they’ve trounced the Chiefs in nearly every opportunity, going 5-2 against Kansas City in regular season games.

The most recent stab in the heart from the Steelers came in the final game of the 2016 season. The Steelers won the AFC Divisional game at Arrowhead Stadium without having scored a touchdown. It was that bad playoff mojo coming back to haunt the Chiefs once again.

Roethlisberger has the Chiefs’ number and he knows how to win at Arrowhead.

The Chiefs also got demolished by Pittsburgh at Heinz Field on Sunday Night Football earlier in the season. Yeah, this isn’t a team that the Chiefs fare well against, and it might not be any different this year.

Roethlisberger has the Chiefs’ number and he knows how to win at Arrowhead. Despite this game being in the “big afternoon game” slot in week six, I don’t have a good feeling about the Chiefs hosting the same team that’s whooped up on them a lot over the past decade.

Fingers crossed this time that Justin Houston isn’t left to cover Antonio Brown down field.

Prediction: While it won’t be nearly as big of a loss, the Chiefs will still falter against the black and gold. 24-17, Steelers.

Standout Player: Tyreek Hill will find the end zone twice, but the rest of the offense will sputter behind him.
