Week 11 – Kansas City Chiefs at New York Giants

Sunday, November 19th, 2017 (12:00 CST kickoff on CBS)

After a last second loss to the Cowboys followed by a bye week, the Chiefs hit the road again for their final tough road game of the season. It’ll come against Eli Manning and the New York Giants, who have handled Kansas City, going 10-3 against them all-time.

Four years ago at Arrowhead Stadium was the first time that Manning had lost to the Chiefs. The Giants got blown out in that one and I don’t see it going like that again this year.

The Giants made it into the playoffs last year and should be a competitive team in 2017 as well. New York is an interesting team though because they can be really good with everything on their team clicking or they can go out there and flat out suck. There’s usually not just an “okay” option for the G-Men.

The Giants made it into the playoffs last year and should be a competitive team in 2017 as well.

I actually have confidence that the Chiefs can win this game, but they’ll have to do some serious game planning against the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., who is one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL. OBJ can win games by himself in New York and if the Chiefs decide to throw someone like D.J. White on him one-on-one, then this game could get out of hand.

Fortunately, I think the Chiefs can score on that good Giants defense and this should be a close, but comfortable win for Kansas City.

Prediction: It’ll be a tight game for the first half, but the KC Chiefs will start to run away with it in the second half. 31-17, Chiefs.

Standout Player: For the first time this season, the Chiefs see what they have in Kareem Hunt. The rookie tears off for over 100 yards rushing and the fans rejoice!
