Kansas City Chiefs Young Receivers

Seantavius Jones – 4th Year

If there has been an early star in Kansas City Chiefs training camp, then it would have to be Seantavius Jones. The undrafted free agent has been an absolute stud early on in practices, consistently making solid catches for big gains.

The top spots in the Chiefs wide receiver corps are likely locked up at this point. However, teams need solid depth option at receiver, and that’s where Seantavius Jones can step in. With his size and athleticism, Jones could be an interesting wrinkle to throw in the mix in certain situations.

There really isn’t a lot to know about Seantavius Jones right now. He’s bounced around early on in his career so far. Jones spent his first two seasons bouncing back and forth between the Saints active roster and practice squad. The Eagles signed him earlier this year and then released him not long after. Now he’s getting a shot in Kansas City.

Seantavius Jones has just one target in three active games since coming to the NFL. In college, he was a three-time All Gulf Coast selection, and put up 26 touchdowns in his final two years. The big mark against him was his strength and physicality for his size. If he’s improved there, he may be a solid find.
