Kansas State all-time leaders in rushing yards: 9: Isaac Jackson (2,182)

When the K-State Wildcats were really bad, Isaac Jackson was one of the few positives for the program. The Cats never had a winning record while Jackson played there, but he  put on a show on the gridiron, especially during his senior season in 1973.

That 1973 season was one where Jackson carried the football 225 times for 1,137 yards and eight touchdowns. His two prior seasons were decent, but not quite to that level of extreme.

Jackson is the first former K-State player to appear on this list who ran for over 2,000 yards during his collegiate career. Most of that damage was done during his senior season, but his 599 yards in 1972 were a good sign of what was to come for the fans.

Isaac Jackson finished his K-State career with 2,182 rushing yards and 19 total touchdowns (16 rushing, three receiving). He’s ninth all-time in KSU rushing yards.
