Kansas State all-time leaders in rushing yards: 13: Charles Jones (1,828)

Charles Jones just finished his college career at Kansas State this past season and had played for them since the 2014 season. His 1,828 rushing yards put him at 13th best all-time in school history.

Jones had a tremendous sophomore season with the Wildcats in 2014, rushing for 13 touchdowns, but only 540 yards. The Wildcats had a few other running backs to lean on that season, but Jones was the goal line back and proved it with his double digit trips to the end zone.

Jones had a tremendous sophomore season with the Wildcats in 2014, rushing for 13 touchdowns, but only 540 yards.

While Jones’ yardage total would go up in 2015, his touchdown numbers decreased significantly, going from 13 to just five in his junior year. He did rush for just shy of 700 yards though, which was a good sign.

In his senior season, Jones had 596 rushing yards and only scored twice. With other options emerging at running back, his role became more and more limited and his senior season seemed to be a bust.

Jones did not get drafted by an NFL team, but he still sits 13th all-time in rushing yards for Kansas State football.
