Kansas State Football: All-Time Leaders in Rushing Yards
Kansas State all-time leaders in rushing yards: 4: Ell Roberson (2,818)
The second quarterback to appear on this list is Ell Roberson, who was under center for the Wildcats from 2000-2003. Roberson, like Collin Klein, was always a threat to take off running at any point during a game.
The quarterback rushed for 2,818 yards over the span of four seasons, but his final two in Manhattan were by far his most impressive campaigns. In 2002, Roberson carried the ball 202 times for 1,032 yards and 16 touchdowns. In 2003, he had 227 carries for 975 yards and 15 trips to the end zone. Pretty dang good for a quarterback!
Ell Roberson was a prize at the quarterback position during his tenure at Kansas State.
Those two seasons saw K-State go 11-2 and 11-4 respectively and both resulted in bowl games. The Cats won the Holiday Bowl in 2002 and lost the Fiesta Bowl in 2003.
Ell Roberson was a prize at the quarterback position during his tenure at Kansas State. Along with his amazing rushing stats, Roberson put up just shy of 6,000 passing yards during three full seasons as the signal caller at K-State.
He’s fourth all-time in rushing yards.
