Tom Gamble: Unemployed
Back in 2013, one of my favorite candidates for the Kansas City Chiefs GM position was Tom Gamble. Now in 2017, he’s still high on my list. Gamble is currently unemployed after leaving the 49ers when they hired John Lynch as their new general manager.
Tom Gamble was one of the major factors in helping the 49ers build a solid roster back in the early 2010s. It was widely believed that the 49ers intended to keep him after firing Trent Baalke. However, the two sides later agreed it would be better for everyone if he left.

Gamble is experienced, with over 29 years in the league. He also has a relationship with Andy Reid from their time together in Philadelphia. So there is definitely grounds for this move to happen. He’s well-respected by many around the league, so don’t worry about the fact he’s unemployed. There are teams that already had him on short lists for 2018.
